Jennifer Lawrence is attached to The Rosie Project for Sony.
After winning over the Comic-Con crowd at the Mockingjay – Part 2 panel this weekend, it’s back to the business of making movies for Jennifer Lawrence.
Written by Graham Simison, the book tells the story of professor Don Tillman, a genetics expert on the Asperger’s scale who never seems to be able to land a second date. He starts The Wife Project, working up a questionnaire to find the perfect partner, but is instead entranced by the free-spirited Rosie, who matches none of his criteria but might just be his soulmate.
(500) Days Of Summer writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber have written the most recent draft of the script and Jump Street duo Christopher Miller and Phil Lord had been involved in its development, but are no longer in line to direct due to them signing on for the stand-alone Han Solo film.
Lawrence will be back in cinemas on 19 November as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
